In an effort to make the Kirk's website relevant and edifying for all age groups, a "Kids' Zone" has been created. Four websites have been chosen, and embedded within the Kids' Zone: Yahero, Clubhouse, Clubhouse Jr., & Bible Kids. More sites will be added in the future.

New feature added to the "Find Us" page

A map of the Caribbean has been added to the "Find Us" page. What is unique is the magnifier feature that has been added. Click on the magnifying glass within the map and you will be able to have a zoomed in look at the islands of The Bahamas!

Our Website Has Launched!......Sort Of

You will notice that our website is far from complete. We debated whether we should delay the launch until the site was 100% ready, but opted to launch early because of the requests to hear the Sunday messages online. Every effort will be made to keep this front page up-to-date with congregational news and Sunday's audio messages, while we work on completing the remaining pages. Another one of the ways that news from the Kirk will be delivered, and kept fresh, is by way of a variety of social networks. If you use Facebook and/or Twitter, you will want to follow us there (buttons at bottom of page). Gowalla is a very cool social network utility that tracks places you have visited. We're hoping that with all of these contact points, more people will hear about the ministry at the Kirk, and be encouraged to come check us out.

Induction Sunday
Sunday June 6 was a historic day for St. Andrew's Kirk on many fronts. After 200 years of affiliation with the Church of Scotland, St. Andrew's Kirk now has its affiliation with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Members of the Presbytery of Florida made the trip to Nassau to officially welcome the Kirk to the EPC and to induct the Kirk's new minister, the Reverend Bryn MacPhail. In anticipation of the June 6 festivities and this new transition, a Bahamian flag now flies atop the Kirk's tower. The transition to the EPC is a temporary harbour for the Kirk as we begin plans to form The Presbyterian Church of The Bahamas with its partner congregations.
